2004 Election Results

As disillusioned as many of us may be right now remember the ancient saying 'it is always darkest before dawn'. As we all know from personal experience sometimes we have to experience a really drastic situation in order to make or demand changes for the better. How much more drastic do things have to get on this planet before we start changing? I believe we have started changing. Record numbers of U.S citizens showed up to vote. Millions of people worldwide are waking up to the need for greater truth and justice. Regardless of how things appear there is a greater purpose to all things. Now more than ever it is important to keep moving forward with love and positive thought and action. It is humanity's time to show the powers that be what we're made of!

For those of you wondering how the *&#% did George W 'win' again:
"Never in presidential politics have massive crowds shown up for an election to "endorse the incumbent", on the contrary they show up to get rid of tyranny, or malfeasance or the pathetic nature of the incumbent."

- Karl Schwarz

Election Voting Problems

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Voters nationwide reported some 1,100 problems with electronic voting machines on Tuesday, including trouble choosing their intended candidates. The e-voting glitches reported to the Election Protection Coalition, an umbrella group of volunteer poll monitors that set up a telephone hotline, included malfunctions blamed on everything from power outages to incompetent poll workers. But there were also several dozen voters in six states - particularly Democrats in Florida - who said the wrong candidates appeared on their touch-screen machine's checkout screen, the coalition said. In many cases, voters said they intended to select John Kerry but when the computer asked them to verify the choice it showed them instead opting for President Bush, the group said.
