The Saddam Saga This Saddam saga is driving me nuts. They have chased this man down who yes, has been responsible for the deaths of a million people over the last few decades (thanks to financial and weapons assistance from the US), but this is a fraction of the deaths caused by the United States' government and military's ruthless actions over the same period. Who is chasing them? Of course they can't find any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq - many of them are in the U.S. Real victory for the world will come when the true villians of this sorry saga are brought to justice and not a scapegoat who in the greater scheme of things was a pawn in their game. Recommended Reading: The Bush Doctrine by Harry Browne. What a brilliant article, here's a taste - "In effect, this is what the Bush Doctrine says: I am the King of the world. What I say goes. I decide which governments remain and which must be overthrown. Even the most oppressive governments may be able to remain if they pledge their allegiance to me. I decide who can have nuclear weapons and who can't. I decide who can live and who can die." We caught the Wrong guy by William Rivers Pitt, Managing Editor, Truthout.Org. We Finally Got Our Frankenstein...And He Was In a Spider Hole! by Michael Moore.
