Seasonal Turning Points
Sabbats are ancient, pagan festivals honouring seasonal turning points throughout the year. They include the more commonly known Equinoxes and Solstices, as well as
Imbolc, Lammas, Samhain and Beltane.
Celebrating these days helps you to attune with the natural cycles of Mother Earth and align with solar and cosmic energy, strengthening your experience of connection with All that is.

The Mists of
Avalon. A rare account of the Arthurian times told from the perspective of the women. The mammoth book by Marion Zimmer Bradley is an enthralling read, an epic tale taking us behind the scenes of the Court of Camelot and the Isle of Avalon during a time of major political and spiritual transition. It offers deep insight into the relationship between the
Goddess-centred Old Religion and organised Christianity, and we are shown into the magical world of priestess training, natural medicine, honouring the natural cycles and the sacred reverance for the Mother Goddess. And of course there is the intense and complex love connection between soulmates Gwenhwyfar
(Guinevere), Arthur, Morgaine (Morgan Le Fay) and Lancelot. For a faster version the film The Mists of Avalon starring Anjelica Huston and Julianna Marguiles is excellent, and a colossal effort considering they had to pack 900+ pages into only a few hours.
